Simplify accessing the Archives
I realize that you don't want everyone to be able to access the archives, but it is enough of a pain to do so currently that few people take advantage of them.

Simplify the subscription mechanism
For many the subscription mechanism is difficult to understand. I would suggest that you incorporate OpenID and make it a standard feature of your system

Streamline_review the site
good grief....I received 10 emails from you in order to join....almost gave up. The site is amazingly clumsy. 'Help' = donate! 'Feedback" is hidden in a side panel and once accessed requires some sort of IT gymnastics to acess. Why not alphabetise the disease lists as default? Now that I'm registered (I'm crossign my fingers) I'm sure I'll find all sorts of information. I was going to suggest this site to a friend with bladder cancer...but it's such a stressful procss trying to access it., sSomebody will have to set it up for her. But, I'm sure it's a great… more
